"The aim of this competition is to encourage the budding writers/unpublished authors. Yet this competition is open for all but our main aim is to promote and publish  aspiring authors."

  1. The competition is open to all aged 18 or over, regardless of nationality or country of residence.
  2. Entries submitted on behalf of somebody else will not be eligible.
  3. The results will be announced online and by email to the writers concerned.
  4. Entries are invited of no more than 4,000 words.  Theme is love but kindly make sure that your entry should not be on pornographic or hatred theme. A poem related to story line can also be attached.
  5. All the selected entries will be published.
  6. Number of Submissions: There is not any restriction on the number of entries.
  7. Entries must be in English only.
  8. Entries cannot be returned.
  9. Entries must be submitted electronically at - writerempire@gmail.com
  10. Entries will remain the copyright of the author but Writers Empire/VLMS Publications will have right to publish it on our Web and winning stories will be published in paperback book.
  11. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to allow Writers Empire to publish their stories, names and biographical information in all media, 
  12. We own absolute right to reject any entry without giving any explanation.
  13. All the entries will we published on our web and concerned writers can ask their friends/readers to vote for them. The number of Likes/Comments they get will help us in final judgment. Yet the final judgment won’t be given on the sole basis of likes.
  14. The work must be original/Unpublished. The contestant must have sole copyright on his/her work. Writer himself/herself will be responsible for any copyright issue.
  15. Make sure your story is not earlier published elsewhere.
  16. Failure to observe these rules will result in disqualification.
  17. Final Judging: Decision of the empanelled judges of Writers Empire Team will be final and no dispute can be raised against our decision. 
  18. By submitting an entry you agree to accept these rules in full.
